The partnership purchased the freehold of a vacant shop unit and two bed flat in July 2007 located in Trinity Street, Dorchester opposite our investment property held by Aqua Trinity Partnership LLP (Iceland).
Located close to the new Laura Ashley and Post office it was felt that this was very much an improving location.
The purchase price was £345,000 and we have refurbished the two bedroom flat and let it on an assured shorthold lease. The double fronted shop has been cleared and repainted and is now on the market for an annual rent of circa £19,000. Following the letting, the shop unit will be sold.
Gearing is from Nat West and partners total investment was £160,000 including two of Lewis' management.
